Operation:

BCD and binary clocks make great computer and educational clocks because they show time in the form that computers use to store data. They also make great conversation pieces and attention getters as they constantly change while showing time in hours, minutes & seconds.

The "RE" (Rounded Edge) clocks are 4.8 inches wide by 3.7 inches tall and ~2 inches deep (vertical ones are 4.8" H x 3.7" W). They will sit on a computer desk shelf, offic desk, or a living room end table.

The time of a BCD clock is calculated, until the combinations are learned, by adding up the decimal values of the individual bits set, shown by LEDs that are on.

  Please specify which options are desired (a BCD clock with red LEDs

Price:

Lower cost SPECIAL red - $25 each.
There is a special price for a special Red LED BCD clock - some Red LEDs were obtained at a special price (thank the 'Borg'). Plus s&h ($5.70) + WI tax if applicable.

Otherwise, the current price for the BCD, Vertical or Horizontal Binary clocks (Green, Yellow or standard or UltraBright Red, or any mixture) is $30 each + s&h ($5.70) + WI tax if applicable.  Any combination of mixed colors can be ordered - red hours, yellow, minutes, green seconds; green hours, yellow minutes, red seconds, etc.; also bit colors can be different such as red lsb, yellow nlsb, green nmsb & blue msb - but blue LEDs are additional cost. Note - mixed colors are generally not backlit, while uniform colors are (a backlight allows easy reading of the clock in the dark - uniform colors can be ordered as non-backlit if desired).

Blue LEDs, which are more expensive, are $72 each BCD and $68 each Binary + shipping and handling ($5.70 per order), + 5.5-6% Wisconsin tax if applicable.

Special blue LEDS are $51 BCD & $48 binary, + s&h ($5.70) + WI tax if applicable.

Mixed color clocks:
BCD or binary non-blue are $30 + frame addon + s&h + WI tax if applicable.
Blue LED addons are $1 for special blue, $2 for standard blue:  $3 for 3 special blue, $6 for standard blue (msbs). $6 for special blue BCD hours, $12 for standard blue. $8 for special blue BCD minutes or seconds, $16 for standard.

Frame addons:
None for "RE" recangular red, wood, green or dark blue/black.
Base price + $3 for "SE" rectangular or pure black RE frame.
Walnut SE is $5 extra.
Vinyl LIPS & Hearts, & fuzzy Hearts frames - $5 extra.
Other special frames are generally $3 addon, tho. they may be specified seperately.
"F" rectangular/rounded front case - $10 addon, available only in red or natural wood.

Typical Standard units:

Red Leds with a Red Frame & black velvet mat,
Yellow Leds with a Wood color frame & dark gray velvet mat (light gray typical),
Green Leds with a Green Frame & dark green velvet mat,
Blue Leds in a Blue Frame & dark blue velvet mat,
Ultrabright Red LEDS for high ambient light conditions.

"Standard" unit model numbers & characteristics:

Case color & type, LED color and time display format must be specified with the order along with the model number from below.
